These simple toys are small, nicely made wooden boxes. Sliding the box open wakes up the sleeper, who immediately sits up. Adding to the appeal, the box starts to play a lovely little tune which lasts about 12 seconds, and then repeats (each box has its own unique tune). All this is guaranteed to produce a smile and a warm feeling. They are very sweet indeed. Made in Germany.
